Photography allows a moment to be frozen and immediate all at once, sometimes benign and malevolent simultaneously. I am drawn repeatedly to this contradiction. (I do also appreciate the quickness of photography compared to the interminable slog of film production.) I don’t have formal training or agenda just take photos of what interests me: light, shadow, trees, occasionally people (see bus project ).
I had a gallery show in April 2024 at the Hoffman Arts Center in Manzanita Beach. I was published recently by Oregon Humanities Magazine, Docu Magazine and North Coast Squid. Additional photos are forthcoming in another publication.
