LOST LAKE (series)

logline: When a poet and his 13 year old daughter arrive at a mountain lake in 2072, summoned there by her recurring dreams, they discover that the lake contains a singularity allowing for time travel and that they are not the only ones there.

genre: sci-fi

status: pilot written, seeking investors and funds

thoughts: Lost Lake is set 50 years from now, when the repercussions of present inaction have come to roost and the end is nigh. I am moved by optimism in the face of darkness and my aim is to make a compelling series comprised of each. This will be a cinematic show, informed by Station Eleven and Y The Last Man as much as by Denis, Tarkovsky, and Malick. Ultimately I am making a show that is honest about where we are and where, absent immediate reversal, we are headed.
