MICROAGGRESSIONS (SEASON TWO)

logline: a report of human waste in a breakroom sink on a Monday morning in June 2020 intersects with several City employees

runtime: 35 minutes (6 episodes, each episode is between 5-6 minutes)

shooting script: available here

format: HD

budget: $7000. funded by a project grant from the Regional Arts + Culture Council and crowdfunding

year: shot in 2021, finished in 2023. production was 5 days.

festivals: Dances With Films, FilmHaus (semi-finalist)

thoughts: Season Two had same structure as Season One - six episodes, each told from the vantage of one person, around a singular event - but the narrative includes pandemic and George Floyd’s murder. Post stretched across many months for several reasons and I ended up editing the back 3 episodes, which furthered the delay. Very proud of this one.

blog post after production wrapped: here

where to watch: will be online Spring 2024. stay tuned
