Photography allows a moment to be frozen and immediate all at once, sometimes benign and malevolent simultaneously. I am drawn repeatedly to this contradiction. (I do also appreciate the quickness of photography compared to the interminable slog of film production.) My primary focus has been landscapes but increasingly will find people in my photos (see my bus project ). Currently I have a solo gallery show up through the end of April at the Hoffman Arts Center in Manzanita Beach. I was published recently by Oregon Humanities Magazine, Docu Magazine and North Coast Squid. Additional photos are forthcoming in another publication.
